Departure from Funchal to our first stop, the village of Ribeira Brava. After the short stop, we pass through Ponta do Sol and Canhas towards Paul da Serra where we will take an off-road route, with the possibility of taking a short walk along a levada. At an altitude of 1400 meters and on the Paul da Serra plateau, we start the descent through Fanal where we stop to visit some of the island’s endemic and centenary trees. We continue to Ribeira da Janela heading towards Porto Moniz, for the lunch stop. Having refreshed our strength with the meal and the Ocean, we are back to Funchal, with some surprises in between, such as the black sand beach of Seixal, and the waterfalls on the North coast of the Island, passing through the village of S. Vicente, being this is one of the last stops, as we could also stop to taste a delicious poncha before arriving in Funchal
