PREAMBLE

1. These general sales conditions are agreed upon between World Travel – Agência de Viagens da Madeira Lda, headquartered at Avenida Arriaga 30 – 3rd Floor, tax identification number 511104880, and contact number +351 291 208 900, hereinafter referred to as “World Travel,” and individuals wishing to make purchases through the website www.travel-to-madeira.com, hereinafter referred to as the “User.”
2. The parties agree that purchases made through the website www.travel-to-madeira.com will be governed exclusively by this contract, excluding any conditions previously available on the website.

ARTICLE 1 – PURPOSE

1. These general sales conditions aim to provide and define all necessary information for the User regarding order placement, sales, payment, and service provision on the website www.travel-to-madeira.com.
2. These conditions regulate all steps required for the acquisition and ensure the follow-up of this service provision to the User.

ARTICLE 2 – ORDER

1. The User places their order by completing the purchase process presented on the website www.travel-to-madeira.com, adding the product(s) or service(s) they wish to order to the shopping cart.
2. To submit their order, the User must:

a) Register on the website www.travel-to-madeira.com by providing the requested information.

b) Log in (providing the email and password combination chosen during registration).

c) Complete the information and select the options available throughout the order completion process (delivery and billing address, shipping method, payment method, as well as the tax identification number and name for invoice purposes).

3. The User’s final confirmation of the order is equivalent to full acceptance of the prices, product/service descriptions available for sale, and these General Sales Conditions, which will be the only applicable terms to the contract thus concluded.
4. World Travel will honor online orders. If the service is unavailable, World Travel commits to informing the User as soon as possible.
5. The information on the invoice is the sole responsibility of the User. Once issued, the invoice cannot be reissued with changes.
6. If payment is not received within the specified deadline, the order will not be guaranteed.

ARTICLE 3 – PAYMENT

1. On the website www.travel-to-madeira.com, World Travel offers the User the following payment methods via Easypay – Instituição de Pagamento Lda:

a) Credit card (Visa, Mastercard);
b) Multibanco reference;
c) Bank transfer.

2. For credit card payments, the amount will be charged to the User’s card immediately after confirmation of service availability. If any ordered service cannot be provided, the amount will be credited to the User’s card after order completion.

ARTICLE 4 – SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND CONSUMPTION

1. The service will be made available after payment confirmation.

ARTICLE 5 – PRICES

1. Prices are listed in Euros, including taxes and VAT in force at the time of order payment.
2. If any service price increases, the User will be immediately informed and may choose to proceed with the order (paying the difference) or cancel it.

ARTICLE 6 – CANCELLATION AND REFUND

1. The cancellation or refund process is handled on a case-by-case basis by World Travel. The request must be sent in writing to the email online@intertours.com.pt within 5 days of the order, with cancellation or refund instructions provided by World Travel via the same communication method.
2. Whenever possible, refunds will be made using the same payment method. If not possible, the User must present proof of payment and account or card ownership to receive the refund via bank transfer.
3. World Travel commits to reimbursing the User within a maximum of 7 days.

ARTICLE 7 – PRIVACY POLICY

Your data is processed in compliance with personal data protection laws. The data, subject to computerized processing, will be included in World Travel’s database(s) and used for registration, presentation of other products and services, and institutional information provided by the company.

Providing this data is optional, and under the law, you are guaranteed the right to access, rectify, and delete any personal data concerning you, either personally or in writing, directly to the address listed on the website’s homepage.
