12:30- Location / Welcoming the participants
An aperitif of Madeira On Ice wine is served on the cliff next to the hotel, accompanied by the traditional sounds of a local folklore group, in harmony with one of the island's most breathtaking landscapes - the Atlantic Ocean and the entire north-east coast.

13h00- Lunch
A typical Madeiran buffet, served next to the wine presses, consisting mainly of local delicacies, including the unmissable Espetada.

14:00 - The stomping
The stomping of the grapes begins, a key moment in the festival, where everyone can and should take part in the traditional way - bare feet!

Every year in September, Quinta do Furão joins in with the many cultural events that take place all over the island as part of the grape harvest festivities, putting on a series of fun initiatives.
For this purpose, a program of recreational and cultural activities is drawn up, offering its customers and the general public the opportunity to take part in the traditional live grape harvest and enjoy a buffet inspired by the island's typical cuisine and a wine tasting.
