The Blandy family is the only one of all the original founders of the Madeira wine trade, that still owns and manages its own original wine company. Its members continue to live in Madeira, thus maintaining a tradition that dates back to 1811 - two centuries of producing excellent wine. Every year, during harvest time, the family opens up to visitors the Quinta de Santa Luzia, a traditional agricultural estate, providing guided tours of its vineyards. A visit not to be missed.
